How does CX work?
Opaltone CX is high-end color separation software that enables the automatic separation of any L*a*b*, RGB or CMYK image into: CMYK + Red, Green and Blue. Moreover, CX can separate any image into CMY*+R’G’B’. The Black (K*) separation is simulated via Opaltone’s proprietary R’G’B’ gray balance algorithm. Now only 1 Black plate is required on press (to reproduce text).
